Over the next few years this large-scale development will transform the heart of New Lynn, an area that is already seeing an exciting resurgence. The wide, tree-lined avenues will see stylish, contemporary, multi-level townhouses sitting alongside multistorey apartments, creating a neighbourhood of unique character.

A recent upgrade to the New Lynn interchange sees the city’s new electric trains link with an ever-increasing number of bus services. Together they give quick access to the CBD as well as other centres in the west.

The access to the new motorway system due for completion in 2017 will radically transform driving times to the north, west and south.

You’ll shop till you drop, then take in the latest blockbuster movie. The next day, head down to the ethnic markets to pick up exciting food for the week. Then jump on a train to the city to see a world-renowned band at the Vector Arena.

Next weekend, change it up. Walk your dog in a wide open, off-leash space. Take to the fairways of Titirangi Golf Club. Ride your bike through the green Waitakeres.
